IT'S SAD NEWS FOR THE STAFF AND EVEN SADDER FOR OUR LOYAL CUSTOMERS..THE UPSIDE IS ALL INVENTORY IS PRICED AT 30% OFF THROUGH THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 21ST; THEN AS OF MONDAY, MARCH 23 THROUGH SATURDAY, MARCH 28 IT IS ALL 50% OFF...THEN WE'LL GO FROM THERE FOR THE FINAL WEEK OF CLOSEOUTS. Don't forget ladies, this is crop weekend..call today to sign up and get some quality scrapping time. Another reminder for our nostalgic album people, the next session is Saturday March 14th from 10 a.m to 1 p.m. Mark you calendars so you won't miss out on the next five pages. The final session date will be announced soon then we'll have a complete 20 page album.

SCRAP U is coming too on Thursday, March 19th...our first meeting to start your "All About Me" album. Bring a 5x7 picture -- black & white or colored--of yourself and your scrapping goodies and get started on the journey of telling your own life story. We will be doing our title page and dedication page in this class..and you will learn how to make your own skittle embellishments.

Successful Crop weekend...

Thanks to all our croppers who came on Friday and Saturday for our monthly crops. Both groups were alot of fun and did some neat layouts and crafts while they were at the store.
Our next crop dates are for Friday, March 13th from 5 p.m to Midnight and Saturday, March 14th from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m., so sign up early and join us for a weekend of fun scrapping.
Due to spring breaks and other commitments in April, we won't have a crop weekend that month so our next dates will be May 1st and 2nd...so don't miss March!!

We still have sales going on also...there are alot of 25 cent papers and $1.00 items, along with 50%-70% off in the clearance section. And we have Valentine stuff for 30% off too. There are some great deals there so get them while you can...because they are going fast.

COMPUTER SYSTEM STILL DOWN..

Another Week is starting...

Can't believe we're almost half way through February--wow!! Don't forget Tuesday, Feb. 10 is the Valentine mini album class for $20.00---sign up Monday before 5 so you don't miss it..it will make a great gift for your Valentine!!

We've had some mishaps at the store this weekend---our computer pooped out Saturday morning. So we are currently ringing up all sales manually with a calculator and the old manual credit card machine. This takes us longer to process than usual so we hope all of our customers will understand that check out is going to take longer than usual. We hope we can have the computer up and running again soon, but this week it's doing it the old fashion way--by hand with paper. To speed things up, it goes quicker if you have cash or can write a check instead of using credit--at least until we get the computer fixed. If not, we understand most of us don't carry cash that much anymore or our checkbooks....debit and credit cards are just too easy to use now.

Also our January clearance sale is still going on---it's now our February clearance sale. Items have been reduced a little more so don't miss out--get 50-70% off on these items and clearance 12x12 papers are now all 25 cents.

Hope to see everyone this week while the weather is so nice---we have Valentine products featured and we have a few new things in also.

It's a cold, windy, and kind of snowy day here in Greater Lafayette and we hope that those of you who didn't have to get out stayed home and did some scrapping. It was a perfect day to get caught up with those Christmas layouts because before long, you'll have Valentine Day pictures to scrap....and we've got just the paper--Making Memories' Love and others that will make really awesome layouts. And for all those new snow day pictures, don't forget the Reminisce papers we have featuring the penguin and polor bear, unfortunately the snow man is out of stock, but the others make really cute layouts too..see examples on our store gallery wall.

New Papers arrived: Grade School and High School themes. Some of them are glittery and others are foiled--the high school theme even includes a page of lockers. Get them soon, as they are going fast.

Just a reminder, we have space left in our Valentine Album class on Tuesday, February 10th and the Barn Album on February 24th. Call today to sign up so we can reserve your seat and class kit.

Also, for all of you who need some uninterrupted scrapping time our crop dates for February are:
Friday, 2/20/09 5:00 p.m. - Midnight Cost $12.00
Saturday, 2/21/09 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 p.m. Cost $20.00

Space is limited so call today and reserve your table. If you want to scrap both days, you can leave your stuff at the store overnight eliminating having to tote it home and back. Just let the staff know that you will be attending both days when you sign up.

WE ARE NOT CLOSING!!!!!

Posting today to let everyone know--That Scrapbook Store is not closing!! There is a rumor going around saying the store is closing, well, we aren't..we are here for the long haul and as long as we have loyal customers will remain in business. You as customers make our store successful and we hope that this will continue for a long time to come!! So to still the rumors, we are open for business as usual!!

We are having a sale to clearance out some of our inventory, but that is only to make room for new products that will be arriving soon...so if this is why someone thinks we are going out of business, they are wrong. If you visit our store, you'll see we have alot of product not on clearance and are there to help our fellow scrappers!!

OOPS!!! FORGOT A NEW CLASS!!

Wow, how could I forget to tell you about the new SCRAP U Club?? It will meet on Thursday,
February 19th at 6:00 p.m. and the cost is $15.00. This is going to be our first meeting as the January meeting was cancelled due to members being out of town. We have six ladies signed up already so if you're interested please call the store so we can make sure we have enough space and products on hand.
